It’s one mans mission to find the reason why magick works in a seculair world, were religion is the base for most of the opinions and rule making. Magick is more then waving a wand and mumbling self-formulated spells. It is a form of consciousness we lose when we become adults and through creativity I want to find it again. This creative magick is my way of giving you guidance in this surreal world.

From a young age there was an interest in the things strange and paranormal. This became an interest in magick when I was introduced to the workings of Aleister Crowley and more important those of Austin Osman Spare, who is seen as the grandfather of chaos magic. It was a start of a life long investigation in the workings of magick and the worlds it creates. An investigation that continues in my present life with ritual and magickal workings.
A long time the world of Surrealism lay dormant in my mind. It wasn’t forgotten, but didn’t play a role in my life until I had an epiphany about the deep connection between magick and surrealism. Both fields are deeply connected. Without magick there is no surrealism and without the latter the world doesn’t make sense.
With my interest in surrealism and even more my love for graphic novels came my will to be an artist. To make art and create comics of my own. Soon I learned that making comics didn’t give me the pleasure what making art did. Therefore I devoted my time solely to making art in drawings and homing my skills in this area. I never received any formal education in this field, all my drawing skills are self-taught.
Salvador Dali was responsible for my introduction into the world of surrealism. His painting fascinated me and posters of his works decorated my bedroom walls. Later I discovered other artists in the surrealist realm like René Margritte and Leonora Carrington. Not long after that I developed a deep interest in comics and graphic novels, Sci-fi and horror.
